Granted this is the way I play it which probably varies from Deron, but I took it by ear and came as close as I could. The sound clip included first has the main riff played clean, so you can hear it distinctly, then distorted. There is an array of effects used in this song, fuzz, a little static, and some wah action. I dont have any of these effects, but if you wanted to have them, you could get a BOSS FZ-2 (Hyper Fuzz), or a FZ-3 (Fuzz), and either a manual wah or autowah, though I believe an autowah would be better.
Tuning: Eb Ab Db Gb (for four string guitar, this is all that Deron uses)
